Leadership in times of transformation

Alfonso Gómez, CEO of BBVA in Switzerland, participated this Thursday, along with other figures from the Swiss financial sector and other leading industries, in the event 'The Secrets of Leadership in Times of Disruptive Change' organized by RFS.

Disruption is not something new or occasional. It is a constant demand for innovation in the face of change. And although most executives are fully aware of its importance, few have worked out the best path to creating cultures of dedication and trust that are open to this challenge in an increasingly complex and fast-paced world.

This event invites major leaders from Swiss industry to share the keys to effective strategic leadership in times of great change, to build bridges between both worlds and explore the possible implications of this new economy.

The event began with an inspirational opening speech by Craig Smith, former president of Marriott International, the world's largest hotel management company. Several high-level speakers then shared their vision of how to lead teams and companies successfully in times of uncertainty.
