What do I need to make a successful video identification?

In order to have a successful video identification, we suggest that you follow the recommendations below:

  • Smartphone, tablet or computer with webcam and microphone
  • Active phone number to receive text message
  • Quiet, undisturbed place to receive a private video call
  • An stable internet connection
  • Time to perform the identification, around 10 minutes
  • High resolution webcam or cell phone camera
  • And of course, a valid identification document
How can I start a biometry?

If you are filling out the application form on your computer, scan the QR code you will see on your screen to initiate the identification and follow the instructions. If you are using a mobile device, you will not need to scan any QR code, simply follow the steps to successfully complete the information.

When can I start the video-identification process?

You can start biometrics at any time

In which language should I do the video-identification?

These are our schedules to perform your video-identification process according to your preferred language:

  • English, German, French and Italian at any time (from Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 22:00 CET)
  • Spanish, between 15:00 – 18:00 CET (from Monday to Saturday)
What is the minimum amount I need to deposit to open an account?

To open an account with New Gen you need a minimum amount of CHF 10’000/EUR 10’000/USD 10’000. We think this is a minimum amount so that you can start enjoying our services, invest and see your wealth grow over time. Open an account

What is the cost of opening an account, receiving money or cancelling it?

At New Gen we do not charge opening fees or fees for receiving money or other investments, nor if you decide to cancel the account. The only fee applied is if you want to transfer investments or money to another entity, then we will only charge you the administrative management fee

How can I verify my identity?

The process to send your documents It’s all online. You don’t have to worry about sending signed documents. It’s all done through this online form and the video identification and digital signature process

How do I know that my account has been opened?

You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your account has been opened with your account information, opening documents and terms and conditions

Can my account have more than one beneficial owner?

At New Gen we only offer individual accounts, which means that each account can only have one beneficial owner

Can I open a corporate account?

At the moment at New Gen, we only offer personal accounts

Can I have more than one account?

At New Gen is not possible to have more than one account, but you can have different portfolios and currencies within a single account

How can I make a transfer to my account?

To make a transfer to your account you will need to use the information in the New Gen welcome letter
There you will find the information you need to start the process:

  • BIC/SWIFT code
  • IBAN or Account Number
How much does it cost to receive a payment?

Receiving a payment costs absolutely nothing! We do not charge for receiving payments

How can I transfer securities from another account?

To make a transfer of securities to your account, you will need to use the information in the New Gen welcome letter
There you will find all the information you need to complete the operation:

  • Contact information
  • IBAN or Account Number
  • BIC/SWIFT code

How much does it cost to receive a security?

We charge absolutely nothing for receiving securities

Is it possible to withdraw cash from my account or pay cash into it?

As it is an online account, you can’t withdraw or pay in cash into it

How can I open a New Portfolio?

You need to enter E-banking or Mobile App and use the Messages section to request the opening of a new portfolio

How can I Open a New Current Account?

You need to enter E-banking or Mobile App and use the Messages section to request the opening of a new Current Account

What is the cost of opening an account, receiving money or cancelling it?

You can find all the information looking for in the New Gen welcome letter. It details all the relevant information about your account contracts, fees, terms of service and more

How can I get an account ownership certificate or banking reference?

You need to enter E-banking or Mobile App and use the Messages section to request the certificate or banking references. You should select the “Other” option and describe the type of certificate you need

How can I cancel My Account?

You need to enter E-banking or Mobile App and use the Messages section to request the account cancellation
To execute the Final transfer you should detail the information of the beneficiary bank and your account number or IBAN there. Remember that transfers can be made to an account of your own ownership
